SWITCHES & CONTROLLERS
GoConex switches and controllers work together to switch power. Install a controller in an electrical box to control power for a light, pump, fan or other electrical load.
GoConex switches are wire-free and can be mounted on any surface, or kept portable to be used as a remote control.
PAIRING SWITCHES AND CONTROLLERS
HARD WIRELESS CONNECTION
Use these three steps to pair switches and controllers together. When paired, a hard wireless connection will be saved for the switch and controller. When a switch it has been paired with is pressed, the controller will turn the electricity on or off.
To change pairings, press and hold “Clear” on the controller to erase paired switches from the controller’s memory.
PAIRING MORE THAN ONE SWITCH & CONTROLLER
A switch can be paired with an unlimited number of controllers, and a controller can remember pairings with up to 10 separate switches.
By pairing more than one switch and controller together, you can make:
- Multi-Way Switches where more than one switch can control the controller,
- Zone Control Switches where a switch controls a group of controllers,
- or Master Switches where a switch controls all of the controllers in the building.
ADAPTS TO EVERY APPLICATION
A GoConex controller can control any number of lights up to the rated capacity for each type of light or electrical load. The 75 meter (250 foot) wireless range enables long-distance control.
A controller can control multiple lights up to its load type rating. Use more controllers when the load is larger than a single controller’s rating.
This floor plan shows a typical wireless switch application with two-way switches, three-way switches plus switches set as zone controls and master switches.
Now that you don’t have to run wire to the switch location and terminate into an electrical box, installation time is a lot faster.
Do you want to change where the switch is located? No problem, just take it off the wall and put it somewhere else. No more complex change orders.
Add switches and controllers wherever power control is needed. Control multiple loads by pairing a switch with more than one controller. Create multi-way switching by pairing one controller with up to 10 different switches.
